Daniel Kipp

Founder + Executive Producer

Dan brings more than 40 years of executive leadership across startups and global enterprises, with expertise spanning finance, M&A, operations, technology, HR, risk management, and business development. A CPA licensed in Ohio, he holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Accountancy) from Miami University.

Over 22 years in the residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industry, Dan helped grow Direct Energy US Home Services (a Centrica PLC subsidiary) from $300M to $1.2B in revenue as Senior Vice President. Earlier, he was among the first 10 employees at Encompass Services Corp, helping scale the startup into a $4B NYSE-listed company with 31,000 employees, and held leadership roles at American Sterling Corporation, Allwaste Recycling, and Arthur Andersen. Since retiring in 2019, he has focused on consulting and investing, and as founding investor of Osgood Film LLC, he guides fundraising, production, and distribution strategy.
